Ni Made Westny DJ is well known for being a model as well as being an outgoing and hot mom! Westny often starred in a number of soap operas and FTV on screens. In 2014, Westny DJ started her Youtube channel and ventured into creating different contents online. Westny is infamous for her creative outdoor exotic content showcasing Bali and her personal life.

How did Westny DJ start content creation?
Began as a model and later turned into an actress in 2012, Westny DJ already enjoyed watching YouTube videos back in the old days. "I was seeing something is developing around a digital area.", she said and started pick up her phone and started shooting. As opposed to being an actress, which you would need to look on on the camera all the time, Westny wanted to explore something beyond her journey as an actress.
Westny wants others to know more about her personality and she would like to showcase this. Then she started approaching businesses and luckily she got responses and that is how she got a breakthrough.
When did Westny DJ start using GoPro and become brand ambassador?
Influenced by a GoPro friend in Indonesia, Westny started to bring along a GoPro camera for travelling. In Indonesia, it was quite rare to have girls taking an action camera around and to be very professional with it. She had an idea which she would like to turn GoPro camera from an action camera to a daily camera and pitched the same to GoPro - and it was accepted! That's how she started joining the GoPro brand as a brand ambassador.

Where a content has turned out differently - "Whoever could find my GoPro, I would kiss you with my bikini on!"
Westny was planning to make a vlog imagining the scenery she captured would be beautiful, however, the content did not go as planned as she took a jump to the sea, her GoPro just dropped to 30 feet deep. (At that time, she was one of the first users worldwide who has a GoPro Hero 5!) She felt guilty for losing the camera at that time.
In her Vlog, she mentioned about the accident and challenged her fans to find her GoPro, as a reward she would kiss him/her with her bikini on. Guess what? She did kiss the hero at the end!
Volcano evacuation
Westny's another favourite content was a Vlog about a volcano eruption emergency situation in Bali. The eruption was supposed to go off every 63 years, however it happened earlier that year. So she went there with two Australian journalists, hoping to take some shooting of the volcano eruptions to tell the world about climate change and what causes such environmental change. She wanted to grasp a chance to be able to urge the others to protect our mother earth, while the clock is ticking!

Westny's tips for anyone who want to be a content creator?
"Be truthful about yourself!"
Westny thinks that it is of vital importance that you create with your own personality and be truthful about yourself. Do not do something just for viewership.
Create content that you can educate the others, so that others will remember you can like you as a creator. Respect your viewers and spend time on them, reply their messages and take note on what they tell you. Because Westny believes that she would not be in the same position if not with her viewer's support.
